Sounds simple enough right? And yes you can make a lot of gold by following that simple rule from above but this isn\’t exactly the way the game was designed to be played. What lands up happening when you follow this strategy is your game play changes. It\’s no longer about raiding, running instances, and PvP\’ing, no, instead it becomes all about your auction alt. Now your entire focus has shifted from enjoying the game for what it is, to mindlessly running around Azeroth, farming items and mats until your brain explodes with boredom. Sound familiar I bet it does because I think everyone was probably logged about 10 hours or so farming the fields in the western plague lands.
You see your game shouldn\’t be about your main feeding your auction alt. Instead it should be the other way around. It should be about your auction alt feeding your main, so that the game can be played and enjoyed the way it was meant to be played. This is what world of warcraft gold farming should be all about. But gamers have lost their focus, fallen for that wow gold guides make and now everyone grinds and gold farms like mindless zombies.
To prove my point that every wow gold guide is scamming you and that all the secrets behind what you have been told about world of warcraft gold farming are a bunch of lies. I started what I like to call the 30 Day Speed Gold Run Challenge. The challenge was simple. Document how much gold I could make in just 30 days on a brand new server without any help from higher ups, guildies etc and using just low level characters lay to the dust all the world of warcraft gold farming claims. How did I do?
